I was doing some research this morning and came across a couple of artists that use photography and yarn together. I love the different mixes of media together as they create something that is slightly different to normal.
The first artist is Diane Meyer who adds emboidery to photographs to hide the flaws in the scene. The embroidery adds a pixelated effect to the photograph and adds a 3D element. The colletion is called Time spent that might otherwise be forgotten.
The second artist is by workbyknight who recreates famous works of art using crocheted granny squares. The pieces of art are only done on the computer so arent in yarn really but they still look amazing !
