So now that I have finished my summer collection I am now looking towards Autumn and Winter which is always an exciting time. In this months Rowan newsletter they have started a competition to create a piece of knitwear in the style of The Great Gatsby. I read the book a few years ago and loved it and then was blown away by the movie that was released this year and so I decided straight away that my first winter project will be to create my entry to the Rowan competition.

The competition is open already but doesnt close until October so I have some time to get creative but Ive already started drawing and researching the style of the time. Here are a few images that i have come across so far that might be helpful.
