Me and my friend Zoe (check out her blog here) have decided to host a Crafternoon for our friends so that we can share our skills and have a giggle. And of course eat cake!

As most of our friends aren’t so craft friendly we have decided to keep the skills pretty simple so are looking at teaching them how to make fun items like festival headbands and friendship bracelets.

We also thought that we would focus more on embellishing so will be including lots of pom poms, buttons and anything we can find !

We are also thinking of knitting/ crocheting necklaces. This is a new area for me so I’m trying to source some jewellery fastenings that will work with chunky yarn. If you have any ideas then please comment! It would be much appreciated!

In the next couple of weeks we will be trying out different ideas so will let you know how it goes.
