Ive just come across an amazing new website called grannies inc which is a website set up so that grannies have a place where they can knit items for customers and get paid!

Theres a design section where you can design your own snood, gloves or hats. You can pick the colours, what stitch you want and if you want any extras like flowers or pompoms attached.

Then there is marketplace where grannies can put up their designs or patterns that they like to make and you can then select it and they will make it for you.

The website seems like a great way to get handmade items and one off pieces and is also helping grannies to continue what they love to do. Knit !
